The Crimson Racing team was created for students at The University of Alabama to take part in the Formula SAE competition. Since its creation, Crimson Racing has successfully competed at both FSAE Michigan and Lincoln. The current team is committed to performing at the highest level and bringing awards back to The University of Alabama. Along with our goal of competing at a high level of success in events, our team enjoys the experience of learning more about cars and the effort required to produce a quality product. About SAE
The Formula SAE® series competitions challenge teams of university undergraduate and graduate students to conceive, design, fabricate, develop, and compete with small, formula-style vehicles. The competitions give teams the chance to demonstrate and prove both their creativity and engineering skills in comparison to teams from other universities around the world.
